The steps are given below which helps anyone to install it.<\/p>\n<p>First Of all install java<\/p>\n<pre><strong>yum -y install java-1.6.0-openjdk  java-1.6.0-openjdk-devel\r\n\r\nThen Install ANT\r\n\r\n<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<pre>cd \/root\/tmp\r\nwget <a href=\"http:\/\/mirrors.kahuki.com\/apache\/ant\/binaries\/apache-ant-1.8.0-bin.tar.bz2\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/mirrors.kahuki.com\/apache\/ant\/bin...in.tar.bz2<\/a>\r\ntar jxvf apache-ant-1.8.0-bin.tar.bz2\r\nmv apache-ant-1.8.0 \/usr\/local\/ant<\/pre>\n<p>Export the Variable For ANT as given below:<\/p>\n<pre>export ANT_HOME=\/usr\/local\/ant\r\nexport JAVA_HOME=\/usr\/lib\/jvm\/java\r\nexport PATH=$PATH:\/usr\/local\/ant\/bin\r\nexport CLASSPATH=.:$JAVA_HOME\/lib\/classes.zip\r\n\r\necho 'export ANT_HOME=\/usr\/local\/ant' &gt;&gt; \/etc\/bashrc\r\necho 'export JAVA_HOME=\/usr\/lib\/jvm\/java' &gt;&gt; \/etc\/bashrc\r\necho 'export PATH=$PATH:\/usr\/local\/ant\/bin' &gt;&gt; \/etc\/bashrc\r\necho 'export CLASSPATH=.:$JAVA_HOME\/lib\/classes.zip' &gt;&gt;  \/etc\/bashrc\r\n\r\nIf SVN is not installed then Install it:\r\n\r\n<pre>yum install perl-URI\r\n\r\nyum install subversion\r\n\r\nThen Install RED5\r\n\r\n<pre>svn co <a href=\"http:\/\/red5.googlecode.com\/svn\/java\/server\/tags\/0_8_0\/\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/red5.googlecode.com\/svn\/java\/server\/tags\/0_8_0\/<\/a> red5\r\nmv red5 \/usr\/local\/\r\ncd \/usr\/local\/red5\r\n\r\nant prepare\r\nant dist\r\ncp -r dist\/conf .\r\n\r\nStart RED5:\r\n\r\n<pre>.\/red5.sh &amp;\r\n\r\nEDIT init script:\r\nvi \/etc\/init.d\/red5\r\n\r\ndownload <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sohailriaz.com\/downloads\/red5.txt\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.sohailriaz.com\/downloads\/red5.txt<\/a> and copy \/ paste code in it.
