{"id":173,"date":"2011-03-07T04:15:19","date_gmt":"2011-03-07T04:15:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.linuxmaster.tk\/?p=173"},"modified":"2011-03-07T04:18:33","modified_gmt":"2011-03-07T04:18:33","slug":"blank-page-for-solusvm-in-a-burstnet-server","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/linuxmaster.in\/?p=173","title":{"rendered":"Blank Page For SolusVM in a Burstnet Server"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<pre><strong>cp \/etc\/yum.repos.d\/CentOS-Base.repo.original \/etc\/yum.repos.d\/CentOS-Base.repo<\/strong><\/pre>\n<\/div>\n<p>If you do not do this your going to get a blank page as we are swapping to the correct repos.<\/p>\n<p>Installation<br \/>\nRequirements<br \/>\nSolusVM requires the following specification:<\/p>\n<p>CentOS 5+ based linux operating system<br \/>\nAt least one external IP address<br \/>\nInstall<br \/>\nIn SSH as root do the following:<\/p>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<pre>wget http:\/\/soluslabs.com\/installers\/solusvm\/install\r\nchmod 755 install\r\n.\/install<\/pre>\n<\/div>\n<p>TroubleShooting<br \/>\nThere seems to have been a slight problem with our database, please try again later<br \/>\nThis usually occurs when the SolusVM MySQL installation has conflicted with an existing MySQL instance.<\/p>\n<p>To fix this problem run the following on the node:<\/p>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<pre>yum remove mysql mysql-client mysql-server<\/pre>\n<\/div>\n<p>Now run the SolusVM installer again.<\/p>\n<p>I keep getting connection error when adding a slave to the master.<br \/>\nCheck the IP Address that is listed in \/usr\/local\/solusvm\/data\/allow.dat  on the slave matches the IP Addess of the master. This file can take  more than one ip address but each ip must be on it&#8217;s own line.<\/p>\n<p>To double check the IP of the master do the following:<\/p>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<pre>curl -s http:\/\/checkip.dyndns.org\/ | grep -o \"[[:digit:].]\\+\"<\/pre>\n<\/div>\n<p>The above code should output the correct IP. You can also check the main IP of the node by doing the following:<\/p>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<pre>ifconfig<\/pre>\n<\/div>\n<p>Make sure the correct IP is listed for eth0.<\/p>\n<p>I get PHP modules errors after install.<br \/>\nSolusVM uses the standard CentOS PHP rpms for its installation so any other version usually breaks the system.<\/p>\n<p>To check the version do the following in SSH:<\/p>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<pre>php -v<\/pre>\n<\/div>\n<p>You should get the output of 5.1.6 i.e:<\/p>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<pre>PHP 5.1.6 (cli) (built: Apr  7 2009 08:00:04)\r\nCopyright (c) 1997-2006 The PHP Group\r\nZend Engine v2.1.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2006 Zend Technologies\r\n    with the ionCube PHP Loader v3.1.34, Copyright (c) 2002-2009, by ionCube Ltd.<\/pre>\n<\/div>\n<p>If you get any other version it usually means you have extra  repos installed in yum, like the<\/p>\n<p>old lxlabs repo or rpmforge repo. There  is no real need to have these extra repos installed on your node and  they can be removed from the \/etc\/yum.repos.d folder.<\/p>\n<p>Any module errors are usually caused by the modules directory being wrongly defined in \/etc\/php.ini.<\/p>\n<p>For 32bit systems the module directory should be: \/usr\/lib\/php\/modules<\/p>\n<p>For 64bit systems the module directory should be: \/usr\/lib64\/php\/modules<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>cp \/etc\/yum.repos.d\/CentOS-Base.repo.original \/etc\/yum.repos.d\/CentOS-Base.repo If you do not do this your going to get a blank page as we are swapping to the correct repos.
